LDS02 - LoRaWAN Door Sensor

Dragino LDS02 is a LoRaWAN Door Sensor designed to detect the open/close status of doors and transmit the information to an IoT server via the LoRaWAN network. Through the IoT server, users can conveniently monitor the door status, including open time and open counts. The LDS02 sends data periodically each day, along with real-time updates for every door open/close action. It also tracks the number of door openings and calculates the duration of the last door opening.

Battery-Powered

The LDS02, powered by two AAA batteries, is designed for long-term use, delivering an impressive range of uplink packets (approximately 16,000 to 70,000) before battery replacement is needed.

Periodic Data Transmission

The LDS02 sends periodic data updates every day, enabling continuous monitoring of door status. It also provides real-time updates for each door open/close action.

Open Alarm Feature

The LDS02 has a configurable open alarm function. If a door is left open for a set duration, the device sends an alarm notification, ensuring prompt attention to security and energy efficiency.

Pre-Loaded Unique Keys

LDS02 comes pre-loaded with unique keys for LoRaWAN registration, enabling automatic connection upon power-on, simplifying setup.

  • Provisioning via IoT Stadium Mobile Apps:
    • Provisioning Mode: Press the Reset (RST) button twice to turn on BLE mode. BLE will be active for only 10 seconds. You’ll hear 3 beeps, indicating BLE is on. After 10 seconds, you’ll hear 3 beeps again, signaling that BLE is off.
