Add New Gateway
There are three different types of gateways which IoT Stadium may accommodate. The three gateways are:
• LoRaWAN Gateway
• LoRa Gateway
• BLE Gateway
Those three types are having different way to add new gateway:
LoRaWAN
1. Click on New LoRaWAN Gateway.
2. Give its name and description.
3. Set the Gateway Type.
4.Set the Frequency Plan.
*Tips: Select the frequency according to your country’s frequency.
5. Check the checkbox which require authenticated connection if you need to.
*Note: This will only allow a gateway to connect if it uses a TLS enabled Basic Station or MQTT connection. It will not allow connections from UDP packet forwarders.
6. Click Add Gateway when done.
LoRa
1. Click on New LoRa Gateway.
2. Give its name and description.
3. Set the Hardware ID.
*Note: You can also scan the Hardware ID, if the gateway has some QR code or bar code.
4. Set the description and its location.
5. Check the checkbox if you want to share this new gateway with other devices from other tenants.
6. Click Add Lora when done
BLE
1. Click on New BLE Gateway.
2. Give its name and description.
3. Select the Connectivity Type.
MQTT
1. Click MQTT as the Connectivity Type.
2. Set the Hardware ID.
*Note: You can also scan the Hardware ID, if the gateway has some qr code or bar code.
3. Set its location.
4. Click Add Lora when done
LoRaWAN
1. Click LoRaWAN as the Connectivity Type.
2. Input DevEUI.
*Tips: You can also scan the DevEUI if the gateway has a qr code or bar code, also you don’t need to fill another field, you just need to set the location and click done.
3. Set the Device Network.
4. Set the AppEUI.
5. Set the AppKey.
6. Set the Frequency Plan.
*Tips: Select the the frequency according to your country’s frequency.
7. Set the LoRaWAN Version of your device and firmware.
8. Set the Regional Parameter Version of your device and firmware.
9. Copy and paste the Downlink Encoder and Uplink Decoder if it’s not pasted.
10. Set the Location.
11. Click Add BLE when done.
